On the other hand, Don's father was an engineering draftsman who died of a heart attack in 1982.

Personal Life: Wife And Children

Don Swayze was first married to actress Marcia Swayze. Marcia is popular for her roles in The Last Road, Command & Conquer and Rule No.3. The couple tied the knot on 31 December 1985.

The duo has a daughter named Danielle Swayze, born on 8 April 1998. As of 2022, Danielle is 33 years old. They divorced after eight years in 1993.

Later on 26 June 2014, the True Blood actor tied the knot to professional dancer and founder of Recreation USA, Charlene Lindstrom.

Reportedly the duo dated for a decade before tying the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in front of family and close friends in 2014. The pair do have kids of their own.

Don and Charlene have established an animal therapy ranch in Los Angeles County, California, called Swayze Ranch. Similarly, the latter has opened the Swayze Foundation.

Late Brother, Actor & Dancer Patrick Swayze-Cause Of Death

Patrick Swayze (1952-2009) was an American actor, singer, and dancer most famous for his role as Johnny Castle in 80s classic hit Dirty Dancing and as Sam Wheat in the iconic romantic thriller Ghost.

Patrick was an alcoholic and chain smoker. Infact, he used to smoke three packs of cigarettes per day. Though he got rid of his addiction with time, it did leave a very harmful impact on his body.

The Dirty Dancing star was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer in January 2008. 

On January 9, 2009, Swayze was hospitalized with pneumonia, which was caused due to chemotherapy complications. 

Doctors informed him that cancer had again metastasized to his liver.

Sadly, Patrick Swayze died on September 14, 2009, at the age of 57. His body was cremated, and his ashes were scattered over his New Mexico ranch.
