He got his nickname Kick from his brother. As per the sources, his brother could not say Christopher so he used to call him "Kicker".  

Later, he shortened it to "Kick" during high school and hence got the nick name which now he is known worldwide.

2. Garage Days: Kick Gurry made an appearance as Freddy in the 2002 movie Garage Days. The Australian dramedy was directed by Alex Proyas that tells the story of a young Sydney garage band desperately trying to make it big in the rock music world.
