Kamila Andini was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, on May 6, 1986. She is currently 36 years old.

She is the eldest daughter of filmmaker Garin Nugroho and Riani Ikaswati.

She has two siblings-sister Adinda Fudia Hanamici and son Gibran Tragari.

However, in her senior year, because of her father's legacy, her classmates began asking her question about direction and filmmaking, which she knew nothing of as she was never interested.

Later, she attended Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia, and got a degree in sociology.

Garin Nugroho born Garin Nugroho Riyanto is very popular Indonesian film director.

The 61-year-old began writing at a young age as his father owned a  lending library and spent most of his time with books.

After graduating from Kolese Loyola high school in 1981. he attended the Jakarta Institute of Arts to study filmmaking.

Nugroho made his directorial debut in 1991 with the movie titled  Cinta Dalam Sepotong Roti (Love in a Slice of Bread).

It was critically acclaimed, and the film earned six Citra award nominations (Best Movie, Best Director, Best Editing, Best Music, Best Artistic Scenes, and Best Cinematography) at the Indonesian Film Festival (IFF).

After graduating from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Isfansyah founded the independent film community Four colors Films in 2001.

After four years, the director released another short film titled Harap Tenang, Ada Ujian! (Please Be Quiet, There are Tests!).

Similarly, his second release (10 November 2011), Sang Penari (The Dancer), based on the trilogy Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk (Ronggeng of Paruk Hamlet) by Indonesian author Ahmad Tohari gave him huge success as a director.

The movie was even selected as the Indonesian entry for the Best Foreign Language Oscar at the 85th Academy Awards, though it did not make the final shortlist.
