Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell is the firstborn of actress Billie Lourd and actor/producer Austen Rydell.

Among fans, she is best known as the only child of the late legendary actress and writer Carrie Fisher, aka Princess Leia from the Star Wars films.

The duo broke up in less than a year, and after a month of a split, Lourd reconnected with Rydell in 2017. 

They were spotted kissing in October 2017 in Palm Springs, confirming their romance to the world.

After almost three years of relationship, the couple got engaged in June 2020. 

The actor/producer released the news via Instagram, stating, "💍💍💍She said YES!! (Actually, she said 'Duhhh') But I guess that's even better than yes?!? 💗🤪🎉🎰💥🍾."

In September 2020, Billie Lourd and Austen Rydell surprised the world after announcing the birth of their baby boy named Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell.

They kept the whole pregnancy very quiet and no one knew about his birth and other details. 

As of July 2022, he is one and a half years old.

Finally, on March 12, 2022, the pair got married in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Billie wore a custom Rodarte dress which was a tribute to her late mother. 

She wore René Mancini shoes, reminiscent of her mom and Fisher's favorite ring, a blue fire opal as "something blue."

Mother Billie Lourd-Only Child Of Late Actress Carrie Fisher: Age & Height

Billie Lourd was born Catherine Fisher Lourd on July 17, 1992, in Los Angeles, California. 

Currently, she is 29-year-old and stands at 5' 1" (155 cm). She is of Russian-Jewish and Scots-Irish/English descent from her mother's side.

She is the only daughter of actress and writer Carrie Fisher and talent agent, Bryan Lourd. 

The couple was together from 1991 to 1994. Although Fisher stated Lourd to be her second husband, they were never legally married.

Reportedly, they separated after Lourd left her for a man.

Carrie was married to singer/songwriter Paul Simon from August 1983 to July 1984.

Grandmother Carrie Fisher Death: What Was The Cause?

The American actress and writer Carrie Fisher need no introduction. 

Her iconic character Princess Leia in the Star Wars films is still considered one of the strongest and sexiest female roles.

Her other popular movies and tv shows are The Blues Brothers, Hannah and Her Sisters, When Harry Met Sally…, 30 Rock, and Catastrophe, among others. 

As a writer, Fisher published many semi-autobiographical novels, including Postcards from the Edge and Wishful Drinking.

Sadly, the legendary Carrie Fisher died at 60 on December 27, 2016. On December 23, 2016, she was on a flight from London to Los Angeles when she suffered a medical emergency. 

She was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

Fisher was placed on a ventilator for four days. On the morning of December 27, 2016, Billie Lourd confirmed her mother's death in a statement to the press.

Los Angeles County Department of Public Health issued a death certificate that stated "cardiac arrest/deferred" was the cause of Carrie Fisher's death. 

Few traces of different drugs were also found in her blood. In an interview, Billie stated:

"My mother battled drug addiction and mental illness her entire life. She ultimately died of it. She was purposefully open in all of her work about the social stigmas surrounding these diseases…. I know my Mom, she'd want her death to encourage people to be open about their struggles."

Already dealing with her Mom's tragic loss, Billie also lost her grandmother Debbie Reynolds the very next day. 

Reynolds suffered a stroke and died after a few hours on December 28, 2016. 

As per Todd Fisher, immediately before suffering the stroke, Debbie said, "I want to be with Carrie."

The private joined funeral for mother-daughter Fisher and Reynolds was held on January 5, 2017. The former was cremated while the latter was entombed.

Billie Lourd: Career Highlights

Billie Lourd attended high school at Harvard-Westlake School. 

Later joined New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Study and graduated with a self-designed degree in "Art and Business as Religion" in 2014.

"I went to NYU, and my parents had a rule that I needed to major in something other than acting if I wanted to pursue acting after college."

Although almost all her family members were against her career choice, Lourd somehow convinced them and started acting in 2015.

She appeared as Lieutenant Kaydel Ko Connix in Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015. 

In the same year, she grabbed the main role of Sadie Swenson / Chanel#3 in the American comedy-horror Scream Queens.

Ironically, Billie is not a horror fan. "I am not a big horror freak. I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat in general. I can't handle scary movies unless I am at home with the lights on and the doors locked or it is in the morning."
