How Carl Swanigan 'Save' Caleb Swanigan From Their Toxic House And Found Him A New Home?
Reportedly Caleb inherited his biological father's two feature-one, height and the other tendency to obesity.
Carl Sr. was 6 ft 8 in (203 cm) and weighed nearly 500 pounds (230 kg) at the time of his death.
Similarly, by the time Swanigan was a teenager, he was 6 ft 2 in (188 cm) and 360 pounds (160 kg).
The toxic household, poverty and constant moving pressurized Caleb more, resulting in further weight gain.
So, when their mother moved the family to Houston again, Carl Jr. decided to do something for his younger brother.
He contacted his former AAU basketball coach and former Detriot Lions linebacker Roosevelt Barnes to help him.
Barnes, residing in Fort Wayne, Indiana, agreed to take Caleb only if he could adopt him and raise him as his son.
Carl agreed for the future of his brother, and the two separated.

He had lost 260 pounds (120 kg) by the time he finished high school.
