Parents' Relationship And Controversial Divorce

Hoffer and Brzezinski first met in 1992 while working at the WTHN-TV. The couple instantly started dating, and not more than a year after, they got married in October 1993.

Shockingly, after two decades of marriage, the pair announced their separation in 2013. 

Initially, the reason was reportedly "irreconcilable differences," but later, news of Mike's alleged affair with co-host Joe Scarborough spread like wildfire.

At that time, Joe was also divorcing his second wife, Susan Waren. Mike kept denying the allegations, and in 2016, she officially divorced Jim.

Later, in 2017, both Brzezinski and Scarborough publicly accepted their relationship (still denying the affair) and announced their engagement. 

The duo tied the knot on November 24, 2018, in Washington, D.C.
