Christi Dembrowski was one of the witnesses from Johnny's side in the most publicized Depp v. Heard Defamation Trial.

Depp sued former wife Amber Heard for defamation over a December 2018 dated op-ed for The Washington Post.

The Aquaman actress accused him of domestic vi*lence and s*xual abuse and wrote an op-ed claiming to be a survivor.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star alleged that he had been the one who Heard physically and emotionally abused.

The trial occurred in Fairfax County, Virginia, from April 11, 2022, to June 1, 2022. It was live telecasted for people to watch all over the world.

Dembrowski took the stand during the defamation trial to expand on her siblings' abusive childhood, as Depp had claimed that his mother was very abusive.

She revealed that their mother, Betty Sue Palmer, physically and verbally abused their father, who never retaliated.

"Dad never reacted when mom hit him or screamed at him. Basically he would let her scream and get it out and be done. The way you dealt with my mom, he always tried to keep the peace."

The 61-year-old revealed that the siblings promised each other as children that their respective households would be free from domestic vi*lence.
