He continued: 

And for me. During the worst challenges of the custody battle, when my visitations with the boys were so infrequent and my relationship with Zaire was strained as a result, I’d invite Dada to come for a visit, too, and he always made Zaire feel more comfortable and able to enjoy the fun. 

Wade further wrote: 

Dada and I high‑five and low‑five as I tell him how much I appreciate his help. So proud of himself, he struts off, then stops to show me one of the latest dance moves from Chicago.

Dahveon Morris: High School And College Career 

Dahveon Morris joined Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, Illinois, where he played basketball. He and his cousin Zaire Wade both played on the school's freshman team. 

Later, both were transferred to Sierra Canyon School, a private K–12 school in Chatsworth, Los Angeles. 

After graduating, Morris attended Westlake Prep for a post-graduation year. Westlake Prep Basketball is an NCAA-accredited high school and post-graduate program.

Zaya Wade was born on May 29, 2007, as the second son of former Miami Heat basketball star and Funches. As of November 2022, she will be 15 years old. 

The whole Wade family, including Morris, has always been supportive of Zaya and accepted her identity.

Zaya, however, made headlines in 2022 when her parents had a public fallout over her being trans. 

It all started when Siohvaughn Funches, Zaya's mother, and Morris' former aunt became involved when Wade filed the petition in August 2022 with the Los Angeles Superior Court for his 15-year-old’s name to be changed from Zion Malachi Airamis Wade to Zaya Malachi Airamis Wade. 

Funches filed a lawsuit against her baby daddy, claiming that her former husband was capitalizing on the financial opportunities from their daughter.

He continued saying, She won’t do it! and alleged that she was an “absent parent” who claims to be a “good Christian mother” but has not attended a single “recital, graduation, school dance, play date, practice, parent-teacher conference, etc.”

Xavier Wade 

Xavier Wade was born Xavier Zechariah Wade was born on November 10, 2013. He is currently eight years old. 

In early 2013, when Wade and his now-wife Gabrielle Union briefly separated, the former started a fling with Aja Metoyer that resulted in them having a son. 

Metoyer is an American reality TV star, businesswoman, and social media influencer. Her notable television appearance was in the sixth season of VH1's Basketball Wives in 2017 with sisters Melissa Metoyer and Christen Metoyer.

Kaavia was born on November 7, 2018, via surrogate and is currently 4 years old. 

Union revealed her decision to go for surgery. She said that she had struggled for years with infertility and failed IVF treatments.
