Though there are no details of how and when the couple met, Cadieu And Gyllenhaal sparked dating rumours in late 2018 when the duo was spotted together in Europe. 

The stories were further fueled when the model attended Jake's Tony-nominated play Sea Wall/A Life's red carpet event. They also attended the after-party together.

During an interview in February 2022, the Brokeback Mountain alum revealed that he and his partner Cadieu spent the early months of the pandemic quarantined together at his godmother, Jamie Lee Curtis' guest house.

They spent the time making sourdough bread together, and those moments helped him realize the importance of her in his life.

"I have a relationship that is truly wonderful, and I have a family I love so much," said the smitten actor.

One of the most eligible bachelors of H-town Gyllenhaal seems to be done with his bachelor life. 

In an interview with Howard Stern on his show in October 2021, the Zodiac actor talked about his desire to be a husband and father.

"That's all I want is to be a good husband and a father. … That really is what I want," he said at the time. "And now that I have fulfilled a lot of things in my career that I feel comfortable with, I can safely say that. I don't know if I could have said that before."
