The 22-year-old Sofia Hublitz first appeared on television as a contestant in the competitive reality television series MasterChef Junior. 

While it was a good opportunity, Sofis does not feel its importance in her career.

"The inference is that I wanted exposure and wanted fame and wanted to be on TV, and that's completely not what I wanted at all," she explains. "I auditioned for fun and I happened to get it, I suppose. Being on TV is not something I sought out."

As an actor, she debuted in 2014 in the dramedy series Louis CK's Louie as Danielle Hoffman in two episodes.

She also starred in his web series Horace and Pete. In 2017, she got her biggest break as Charlotte Byrde in the Netflix crime drama series Ozark.

Ozark follows the story of Jason Bateman and Laura Linney as Marty and Wendy Byrde. 

A married couple with two children (Sofia Hublitz as Charlotte Byrde and Skylar Gaertner as Jonah Byrde) who moves to the Lake of the Ozarks after getting involved in Money laundering.

"I spent my later adolescent years on a movie set. And when you have difficult times in your life, you have to learn not to bring that to work. "There are obviously some parallels of that kind of growing-up process. It's strange feeling like you're growing up in front of the world's eyes."
