Tose Page was born and raised in London, England. He is one of four children of a Zimbabwean mother and an English father.

Reportedly, his nurse mom and preacher dad was one of the early couples to get interracially wed.

Tose is in his late 20s. He also has two other siblings whose identities have not been revealed yet.

His actor brother Regé-Jean Page was born Regererai Page on 24 January 1988.

Currently (July 2022), the Bridgerton star is 34-year-old and stands tall at 5 feet and 11 inches or 183cm.

Regé-Jean in an interview stated:

"As a teenager, the idea of running around, screaming at people was very appealing to me. "I found comfort in aggression, in breaking through false walls and challenging norms."

Regé-Jeanstudied sound engineering and also took classes at The National Youth Theatre. Page entered Drama Centre London after two years of rejections.

The Emmy-nominated actor Page started his acting journey via stage. He famously appeared in The History Boys and The Merchant of Venice.

Some of his other early shows include BBC Three drama series Waterloo Road, History Channel miniseries Roots, legal drama series For the People, and films Mortal Engines and Sylvie's Love.

He, however, rose to fame following his lead role in the monster hit Netflix series Bridgerton. 

The story was focused on his completed romance with Phoebe Dynevor (Daphne Bridgerton). Page became the world's obsession overnight and is still going on.

Why Did He Leave The Show After Season One?

Sadly, the actor revealed that he would no longer be part of the show's second season.

In April, Netflix and Shondaland announced Regé-Jean Page, aka Simon Basset's exit from the show:

"Dear Readers, while all eyes turn to Lord Anthony Bridgerton's quest to find a Viscountess, we bid adieu to Regé-Jean Page, who so triumphantly played the Duke of Hastings.

"We'll miss Simon's presence onscreen, but he will always be a part of the Bridgerton family. Daphne will remain a devoted wife and sister, helping her brother navigate the upcoming social season and what it has to offer – more intrigue and romance than my readers may be able to bear."

The 34-year-old actor stated that his character arc is complete on the show, and now it is time to move on.

In the other interview, when asked about the possibility of re-casting his character. 

He replied:

‘They’re free to do as they like. Shonda and I had a wonderful conversation at the end of Season 1. We were quite happy with how we’d stuck the landing on that one. I’m still proud of how we stuck the landing on that one.’

Even though fans will miss his charismatic performance in the show, he has much to showcase.

Upcoming Projects-Is He The New James Bond?

Though the fans were extremely sad not to be able to see Regé-Jean Page recreating the magic of Simon Basset, he has many exciting projects under his belt.

He will soon appear in Netflix's The Gray Man alongside Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. The movie follows a story of a fugitive CIA agent based on Mark Greaney's 2009 novel of the same name.

Additionally, the rising star is locked to play Simon Templar, "The Saint," in Paramount Pictures' upcoming reboot of 1997's The Saint. 

Page is also set to appear on Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley's next project based on the Dungeons and Dragons game.

Similarly, there were rumors of him playing the next James Bond following Daniel Craig's exit. 

However, the actor shut down the stories and admitted to not being suited for the role.

"If you're a Brit, and you do something of any kind of renown that people regard well, then people start saying the 'B' word. It's like a merit badge. You get the 'B' word merit badge."

"I'm very, very glad to have the badge," he added. "I'm glad to be in such wonderful company of people who have the badge. But it's a badge."

It would have been a beautiful sight to watch him as an agent 007, but it looks like it's not going to happen. However, his other projects look equally interesting.

The reports said he was offered $50k per episode for his appearance in Bridgerton season two, which he declined.
