What Happened Between Brynn Whitfield And Former Co-star Lizzy Savetsky?
The new season of RHONYC grabbed headlines in November 2022, when one of its newest members, Lizzy Savetsky, left the show even before its release.
One of her many reasons was an intense beef and growing tension with Brynn Whitfield.
According to Page Six, the tension occurred between the two women while filming a phone conversation, in which Brynn asked Lizzy, who is an Orthodox Jew, to set her up with a Jewish man.
Allegedly, Lizzy revealed that she preferred to set up Jewish people only within the community, which left Brynn offended.
Reportedly, Whitfield lashed out at Savetsky in a private phone call regarding the matter, where she, being a half-black, used the N-word, but rather than using the term "N-word," she said the word it represents in full.
Savetsky’s husband, Dr. Ira Savetsky, was outraged following the incident and reported it to the show's producers.
However, as per the sources, when he recounted the call, Ira also said the actual word rather than saying "the N-word."
That quickly became a problem for the network, and "conversations began" about the married couple walking away from the show.

Later, they announced Lizzy Savetsky's official departure.
"After thoughtful consideration and discussion with Lizzy, we have reached the mutual conclusion that Lizzy will not be a cast member on RHONY."
Similarly, Lizzy also released a statement, stating:
"From the time [it was announced she was joining the cast]," she said. "I was on the receiving end of a torrent of [anti-Semitic] attacks." As this continued, I realized that this path was no longer right for me and my family.
