Sadly, Aaron Carter did not have a happy life. He claimed that his childhood was abusive and that he grew up in a difficult family, which led to his addiction. 

His addiction also soured his family members, especially his siblings. 

His relationship with his brother, Nick Carter, was strained. The Backstreet Boys member and his twin sister, Angel Carter, filed a restraining order against Aaron in 2019. 

The order was issued after Aaron allegedly threatened to k*ll Nick, his wife, and their unborn child. 

Nick had tweeted about the same thing, saying: 

"After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today. In light of Aaron’s increasingly alarming behaviour… we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family."

Reportedly, his body was found in his bathtub by a housekeeper. The cause of his death is still unknown.
